Let's face it - this isn't just a depression we're entering. It is the end of the capitalist system. A system built on continual growth unrestrained greed, avarice, and a lust for power can't be sustained in the long run. A wicked wind this way blows and nothing will ever be the same again.

The elite scramble to save their power and position and are sending the bill to you and me. They are aided and abetted by a myopic and compliant media that refuses to acknowledge the approaching abyss, As long as we refuse to consider alternatives to the stinking corruption of our political and economic system we are doomed.

Expect mass unemployment. Expect hunger. Expect riots in the streets and a police and military response. Expect the loss of liberty, privacy, and democracy. Expect the worse.

    Cheers

  3. Think you are both absolutely correct and I am depressed too. I fear loss of liberty, employment and much suffering will follow - irrespective of which cosseted politicians are in power. Don't trust any of them.

  5. Oops my last post didn't go through. I agree with scunnert and you Clara, with the exception of liberty. Our liberty has been decimated by labour.

My concerns are for the younger generations as this depression will be far worse than any my generation has experienced.

Day by day the cultures of the UK are also being eroded. Hardly a day goes by without an incident being reported and it's usually the indigenous people who suffer.

  7. Yeah Common Purpose have been on my radar for a while. Pretty evangelical and seem to be sinister in intent. Have worked with a few of it's 'products' and they all seem pretty harmless though.

Sigh - if only "The end of capitalism"...
